Submissions should contain original materials, ideas, surveys and framework that has not been previously published in a journal, nor is currently under review by another journal. If material in the submission was previously published in a conference paper, the new submission must (i) technically extend the published version by at least 35% of new material, (ii) explicitly cite the prior conference paper, and (iii) explain in an accompanying cover letter what has been extended in the new submission.

All accepted papers will be published in Springer LNNS Series and will be indexed in ISI Proceedings. EI-Compendex, DBLB, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink. All papers presented during the conference will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in the following journals. Those that are considered to be appropriate for publication after peer review will be published for free of charge.

1. Journal of Telecommunication, Electronic and Computer Engineering (JTEC)-scopus index

2. Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (JAMT)- scopus index

3. International Journal of Synthetic Emotions (IJSE) – DBLP and ACM-DL

For showcase papers will be published as a book chapter under UTeM Publication

Manuscripts submission is done online using the EasyChair Submission System, link, and it must be prepared according to the Springer Template.

Submitted papers will be evaluated based on their originality, presentation, contributions, and relevance to the theme of the 2th IIC2018, and will be double blind reviewed by at least three independent experts in the field. Papers must be written in English with a minimum of six (6) pages and not exceeding ten (10) pages (including figures, tables and references).

There are also Best Paper Awards for each track. These award winners will be selected by internationally acknowledged experts. Submissions imply that at least one of the authors has to register and present the paper at the conference if the paper is accepted. Authors may contact the Program Chair for further information or clarification at
